Happy Fall everyone! At the September council meeting, we began with updates from various committees regarding current happenings at Gethsemane. This was followed by the financial reports. Planning for the 2027 budget has started. The need for giving to increase was discussed. At current levels, at some point, cut backs may be needed. The only area we can really look at reducing is staffing levels. Hopefully this can be avoided by increased financial support for our church. Job description updates and reviews were discussed.

A meeting was scheduled between Gethsemane, Our Saviors, and Messiah Pastors and Council Presidents to talk about Pastoral coverage after Pastor Laura leaves her call at Messiah. 

A lot going on, LIFT has begun for the year, fall is in full swing! Hope to see you in church!
