Bible Study Groups at Gethsemane
Women's Bible Study - 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 5:00 pM
This women's group chooses their study materials together depending on the spiritual needs and interests of the participants. Recently they have just finished a series called "Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story" by Angie Smith. In the recent past they have studied "Defiant Joy" by Candace Payne. They will be starting a new session this fall entitled, "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer. This group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during the school year and intermittently in the summer. They not only dig into Bible study together, but support one another in prayer, do service projects together, and enjoy fun activities! For more information, contact the church office.
Thursday Morning Bible Study - most weeks, 8:30 AM
This is a smaller group that meets to study the word and enjoy coffee together, It is not necessarily only for women, but right now only women are attending. They follow a bible study guide to discuss the Word and how it relates to thier lives. For more information, contact the church office.
Other Bible Studies on break
If you are interested in reviving one of these groups, reforming one, or starting a new bible study ministry, please contact Pastor Amy. She is more than willing to help and guide to foster more engagement with the scriptures!
Bibles and Brew (coffee, that is!) - Wednesdays, 6:30 AM - This men's bible study has been on hiatus since the beginning of the pandemic. They used to meet early in the morning to share coffee and donuts and study God's Word in the library at church.
